    Qualifications for Counsellors:

    Certificate/Diploma in counselling from a recognizzed institution;

  1. One year experience offeriongf counselling services.
  2. Registered by KCPA/or professional body.
  3. Proof of counselling ssupervision.
  4. Aged between 22 years to 50 years.
  5. Living within the Republic of Kenya.

ARCTI PLATFORM TERMS OF USE

Terms of Service for counsellors, mediators and counsellor supervisors joining the Africa Regional Counselling and Training Institute platform. This document is intended as a guideline and should be reviewed by legal professionals to ensure it meets all applicable legal requirements.

  1. Introduction Welcome to the Africa Regional Counselling and Training Institute platform ("the Platform"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Platform as a counsellor or counsellor supervisor ("User"). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you may not use the Platform.
  2. Eligibility To be eligible to use the Platform, you must: - Be a licensed or certified counsellor or counsellor supervisor in your country of practice. - Provide accurate and up-to-date professional information during registration. - Comply with all local and international laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines relevant to your professional practice.
  3. User Responsibilities As a User, you agree to: - Maintain the confidentiality of all client information and adhere to applicable privacy laws. - Provide services in a professional, ethical, and responsible manner. - Regularly update your professional information on the Platform. - Refrain from any behavior that could harm clients, other Users, or the reputation of the Platform. - Use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
  4. Services Provided The Platform facilitates: - The connection between counsellors, counsellor supervisors, mediators and clients. - Access to training resources, workshops, and professional development opportunities. - Communication and collaboration among professionals. The Platform does not endorse or guarantee the quality or outcome of any counselling services provided by Users.
  5. Fees and Payments - The Platform may charge fees for certain services or features. Details of these fees will be provided at the time of service or feature selection. - Users are responsible for all fees associated with the use of the Platform, including but not limited to registration fees, training fees, and subscription fees. - Payments are to be made through the payment methods provided on the Platform. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
  6. Confidentiality and Privacy - Users must maintain the confidentiality of all client information and adhere to relevant privacy laws and regulations. - The Platform will take reasonable measures to protect User information, but cannot guarantee absolute security. - Users must report any security breaches or unauthorized access to the Platform immediately.
  7. Termination of Service - The Platform reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, without notice, for any breach of these Terms or for any other reason at its discretion. - Users may terminate their use of the Platform at any time by following the account termination procedures provided.
  8. Dispute Resolution - Any disputes arising from the use of the Platform shall be resolved through mediation or arbitration in accordance with the laws of [Applicable Country or Region]. - Users agree to resolve any disputes in good faith and to avoid legal proceedings where possible.
